Dave Knasel is the founder and managing attorney of Dominion Business Law PLC, a growing business and technology law firm with offices in Tysons Corner and Leesburg, Virginia. The practice is committed to representing closely-held businesses, entrepreneurs, and professionals in a broad range of litigation, transactional, and counseling matters. Dave focuses his practice on the areas of corporate law, business transactions, commercial litigation, employment, technology/IP, real estate, and business succession and estate planning.

Dave is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Virginia, where he earned both his B.A. and J.D. degrees. He was admitted to the bar in 1994. From 1994 to 1996, he served as a Law Clerk to The Honorable Reginald W. Gibson, Judge, U.S. Court of Federal Claims. In subsequent private practice, Dave has advised and represented clients in the areas of contract, employment, construction, telecommunications, class action, and insurance law. He has extensive experience litigating commercial disputes and employment claims in state and federal courts. He is admitted to the practice of law in Virginia, Maryland, the District of Columbia, and Florida, as well as numerous federal trial and appellate courts, including the U.S. Court of Federal Claims and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.

In addition to his professional endeavors, Dave serves on the Board of Directors of the St. Anselm’s Abbey School Alumni Association. He also coaches youth soccer.
